My name is Jessie. I'm in my late twenties and I live in San Diego, California. I work in family law. I'm a vegetarian, and have been for the last 18 years. And I read entirely too much fanfiction.
I'm a huge fan of (older) DC comics (DCnU isn't happening, lalalala), particularly the Bat family, and particularly Tim DrakeWayne. I'll read almost any pairing with Tim in it. I'll read anything that intrigues me. I love slash, but I also like gen an awful lot, and there are a few het pairings I adore. I also seem to have my default setting stuck on OT3, rather than OTP.
For the most part, schmoopy romance makes me cringe. I love angst. I mean love it. When a movie or a book ends in misery, death, and not-getting-the-girl, or a particularly dark and twisty twist, my friends call it a Jessie Ending. I like my fanfic the same way. You should never assume that anything I write won't end in horrible trauma, even if it starts out light. I'm kind of vicious and cruel that way.
